Chapters 21-27 Summary

In Chapter 21, it is six months later. Libby is living in Pebble Creek under the name Jill Munroe from her mother's favorite television show, Charlie's Angels. Jill has been working with a local retired attorney to become emancipated from the state of Wisconsin and learns that she has gotten exactly what she wanted. Libby no longer has to hide or seek permission to live her life as she wants. However, when Libby returns to the hotel where she has been living, she learns that her friend, DarLynn, has discovered who she is. Jamieson was on one of DarLynn's favorite entertainment shows promoting their new tour and a contest they have been sponsoring to search for Libby. There is a picture and DarLynn recognizes Libby in it.
