Summary

Chapter 5, “Red Poles,” follows Tommy’s arrival at Ken’s and everyone’s search for Benny. The action takes place in Las Vegas. At the beginning of the chapter, Ken dealt with a situation involving the girls that he managed for Tommy’s human trafficking business. He thought of his own daughters, Janine and Sarita, and what caused them to grow up to be the women they were today. Then he received an email from Tommy. Tommy was coming to Las Vegas and wanted Ken to pick him up. Even though Ken worked for Tommy, he did not like him. He wondered why Tommy was coming, but knew that his visit meant that there was trouble.
