Sonoma Valley Trauma Center

After Annemarie’s riding accident she is taken to the Sonoma Valley Trauma Center where she recovers from her injuries. While at this center, Annemarie overhears her father asking the doctors if Annemarie will ever be able to ride again.

Maple Brook Riding Academy

Annemarie grew up on her parents’ farm, the Maple Brook Riding Academy. She returned to the farm when she lost her job and her husband left her for a younger woman. After Annemarie takes over management of the stables to give her mother more time to spend with her father, she almost bankrupts the farm.
