Chapter 18 Summary

Speaking of Granser and Goodparley, Flinter opens Chapter 18 by telling Orfing and Riddley that the heads of the deceased have been "telling." He continues to say that there is always some cleverness waiting to be found out, and whoever finds that out is, metaphorically speaking, Eusa. He then tells Orfing and Riddley to get on with the Punch show.

The Punch show that Riddley and Orfing perform is different in many ways from the earlier Punch shows. Punch refers to himself as Old Man Salty, a reference to Salt 4. He is stopped from doing any real damage, and Riddley and Orfing are sent on their way.
