Summary

In Chapter 30, narrated by Clara, Clara and Lexie have been drinking wine from Morgan’s stash while Clara tells Lexie about catching her mother and Jonah kissing.

When Morgan arrives home, Lexie tries to hide the wine bottle on the coffee table but Clara is holding a second bottle. Morgan snatches a bottle away from Clara when Clara starts to finish it off. Clara asks her mother how long she and Jonah have been having sex. Morgan tells Clara that she would never have betrayed Jenny or Clara’s father.

In Chapter 31, narrated by Morgan, Morgan goes to tend to Clara when she hears her in the bathroom later that night. She hopes that Clara learns from the hangover.
