Binding the Strong Man Summary and Analysis

The Lord asks Rees to convert a ringleader of a group of drunkards. Rees has no personal relationship with the woman the Lord is asking Rees to convert as he usually has with his converts. Rees will need strength to win this soul, but once Rees accomplishes this, he can use it to help him win other souls as well.

During his abiding time, Rees sees the battles being fought and won by the Spirit. Weeks of abiding pass before Rees gets the sign from the Lord that it is time for the woman's conversion. She attends prayer meetings without any direct influence from Rees. In fact, Rees is guided by the Holy Spirit to not pray for this woman. Rees continues to praise the Lord for winning the woman's soul before he has the proof it is happening...
