Point of View

Redeeming Love is told in the voice of a reliable and omniscient narrator, which means that the readers have access to the thoughts and feelings of several of the characters. However, each chapter or section of the book is told from the point of view of one character at a time. This is valuable because it allows the reader to get to know each character better, as we can see them from the perspective of others some of the time, but are able to see their thoughts and feelings at other times. For example, if the story was told only from Angel's perspective, the reader would not know how she appeared to others, and her beauty and aloof coldness are crucial to her character.
