Chapter 14 Summary

She finds the room that Mrs. Danvers and Mr. Favell were in. She finds the light and sees that the room is set up as if someone was living there. All of the furniture was set up, brushes were on the dressing table, and a robe and pair of slippers were set out. It was Rebecca's room. The author looks throughout the room.

Mrs. Danvers walks in and surprises Mrs. de Winter. She tells Mrs. de Winter why she had not asked to look at the west wing. She tells her that she would have been happy to give her tour. She leads Mrs. de Winter around the room describing Rebecca as she went. She makes the author feel the fabric of the dressing gown, put her hands in her slippers, shows her Rebecca's.....
