Lupe Gomez

Lupe is beautiful girl, devoted to God and her family. She has relatively fair, beautiful skin, and long, dark, luxurious hair. She is tall for a Mexican girl, and carries herself with a great deal of poise and stature. As she grows up she sees the changes in her mountain community brought on by the development of a gold mine across the valley from her home. As the Mexican Revolution of 1910 begins to make it unsafe to stay in her village, she goes with her family to the United States.

She is so beautiful as she matures and has many suitors. However, she is shy and not open to relationships.
