Summary and Analysis For Chapters 31-35 Summary

In Chapter 31, Matt is early for his meeting with Sarah, but she is already there. She praises him for how he dealt with Junie, and he tells her that he learned to focus in football. They talk a bit about their fathers and about Junie. They also talk about that time they were together, and he couldn't get hard. Sarah tells him that she really cares about him. Matt points out that what she really cared about was beating Mandy. She admits that that is how it all started, but it changed.

In Chapter 32, Matt and Sarah go to visit Chris in the hospital. Chris's mother thanks Matt for saving her son's life. She said that nobody has come to visit except for the police. He goes in to talk with Chris. The boy is hooked up...
