Summary

Scene Three opens with Nat, Becca, and Izzy in the Corbett’s kitchen. It’s Izzy’s birthday and the women gather around to celebrate as she blows out the candles. They cut the cake Becca made when Howie enters with some papers to join the family. He had gone off to print out information for Nat, his mother-in-law, regarding the Kennedys. Howie hands over a timeline to Nat, and they begin to discuss the supposed curse of the American “Royal” Family. Although the conversation about JFK seems light enough, a tension slowly begins to build between the family members. Becca offers Izzy wine multiple times, despite her pregnancy.
