When Grandmere introduces Amelia to the contessa, she introduces Prince Rene as Amelia's beau. This is a problem because just a few people behind her in line is Lana. Mia confronts Grandmere about what she is trying to do and Grandmere agrees to stop calling Rene her boyfirned if Mia dances with him. When Mia resists, Grandmere says Mia owes her because of a missing piece from the Genovian museum, which is the present Mia stole to give to Michael for his birthday.
