Monday, January 18 and Tuesday, January 19 Summary

Amelia is finally home. She is in her loft with her mom and stepdad. Her mom is starting to show, but still has four months left until the baby comes. Amelia picks up her cat Fat Louie and gives him a big hug. She notices his bowl is only half-full and fills it to the brim. She always keeps it full in case there is a plague and all humans die. She also notices that her stepfather has removed the Christmas tree before Easter and turned her mom's old darkroom into the nursery. Finally, he had DSL installed so they can get on the Internet without tying up the phone line. Then, her mom plays a message from Michael on the answering machine for Amelia.
