At 7:04 p.m. on Friday, May 9, Mia can finally hear herself think. Michael calls to let her know the band will be practicing all night. The guys are not thrilled about playing prom, but Michael insists a gig is a gig. Mia cannot wait to enter prom on Michael's arm. Tina is also going, with Boris since she is his new muse. When the phone rings, Mia hopes it is Dad saying the strike is over and he is sending the limo for Grandmere.
