Chapter Seven, The Wedding: Pages 271- 295 Summary

Max almost does not open the door when the knock sounds, but the late hour and the urgency of the knock suggest that it might be worth a peek. Max asks what is so important that he should help them. Inigo tries to invent a story but Max says Inigo is a bad liar. To find out the truth Max places the end of a bellows into Westley's mouth and pumps air into his lungs. When Inigo protests, Max says that Westley is only sort of dead and there is still some brain activity left. Max shouts in Westley's ear asking him what is so important to live for and they all stand back to wait. Finally Westley says, "troo luv."
