Summary

In Chapter 13, Vanessa remembers how she met a social media influencer, Saskia, who encouraged Vanessa to join Instagram and become one as well. Vanessa loved the attention she got, but her father looked down on her career choice. Vanessa started experiencing bouts of manic energy and sweeping depression. When she was 30, she met Victor and got engaged to him. He started to express discomfort with her career, too. After her father died, and she made a post about it, Victor called and broke up with her. Soon after, Vanessa had decided to move to Stonehaven and start fresh.
