Part 4: Monday, Chapter 27, Augustus and Chapter 28, Effrom Summary

After Travis finishes telling his story, Augustus unties him. Gian Hen Gian returns from taking his bath and threatens Travis with torture. Augustus explains that Travis, too, is trying to find the Seal of Solomon, which Gian Hen Gian admits could have been made into a candlestick, and send Catch back to hell. Augustus also introduces Travis to the King of the Djinn. They believe that, concealed in the candlesticks, there is also an invocation that will bind Gian Hen Gian to the invoker, thus giving him the power to destroy Catch. Travis is worried Catch will return to Jenny's house, and Augustus reveals one more piece of the puzzle: Jenny is Amanda's granddaughter.

Effrom wakes and thinks he is dead, but he cannot figure out if this is heaven or...
