Oslo

The headquarters of the Police Department and Norway's Crime Squad is located in Oslo, the capital of Norway, a modern urban city. The Crime Squad works collaboratively with Kripos, the other major Norwegian agency that works with organized and serious crimes. (Kripos stands for KRIminalPOlitizei, literally, criminal police).

Bergen

Katrine formerly worked for the Bergen police department until she began to work on a series of similar rape cases that included those in or near the capital. The longer she works in Oslo, the more she misses Bergen's beautiful mountains and fjords. The Bergen dialect is not difficult for Norwegians to pick up, but Katrine knows the local cuss words which she likes to use when talking to police colleagues from Bergen.
