George W. Bush
George W. Bush is the President of the United States in 2000, who was narrowly elected to office. He's a Texas Republican and an enthusiastic Evangelical Christian. Bush is the son of President George H. W. Bush, who gathered and led a U.N. coalition in forcing Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait in 1991. Large, physical, focused, inarticulate, quick and joshing, Bush, is an executive novice, having served only as Governor of Texas after working in the family oil business, and depends heavily on his hawkish, experienced Vice President, Dick Cheney (but denies widespread rumors he takes orders from him).
Bush discounts intelligence reports about terrorist threats and focuses on pushing through the massive tax cuts on which he had campaigned.
