Chapter 7 "Pippi Goes to the Circus" Summary

A circus is in the small town, and Tommy and Annika get money from their father to go. They run next door where Pippi is putting ribbons on her horse's tail. She is fixing him up for his birthday. Tommy asks if she wants to go to the circus. Pippi wonders what a "surkus" is. Tommy tells her it has animals and clowns. Annika says they have to pay. Pippi says she has money to buy the circus. Tommy clarifies that one pays to look at it, not to buy it. Pippi did not know it costs to see, and decides she has to go. The children stand in line at the circus to get tickets. When Pippi gets to the window, she asks the ticket seller how.....
