Cassia: Cassia is filled with a new strength after her vision from God. Although she still feels powerless, she is no longer desperate, trusting that God will take care of her and her son. She longs to find Julian and declare her love for him, and to tell him that she has met his Jesus. As she thinks of this, the dungeon door scrapes open and Bethea appears in the torchlight.
