Importance: Jay wishes that he had input from Jun, his cousin and best friend, concerning the questions he is having about college and what he should do with his life. However, in Jun’s last letter, Jun told Jay that if he did not get a response, he would stop writing. Since that time, Jun ran away from home. Jay does not even know where Jun is living.

But I need to know more. I need to know what happened to my cousin. Maybe only for the sake of knowing — but maybe because I need to hear that it wasn’t my fault. That, whatever happened, a few more letters from me wouldn’t have made a difference.
