'There's No Place Like Home' to 'Dumbbells, Boys, and Other Dense Things' Summary

Evie attempts to remain calm and tells the vampires that they are under arrest. They seem surprised that she is IPCA, seeming to think that she came there to kill them instead. When they realize that she is not much threat, they attack her. She is soon overwhelmed, and takes the only option left to her. She calls for Reth, telling him she needs him. She uses his real name, Lorethan, which makes it a named command. If a faerie is given a command using his or her real name, they are forced to obey. Unfortunately, Evie's command of 'take me home' is not specific enough. Reth takes her to his own home in the Faerie Realms. He tries to seduce her again, but as she is falling under his spell she thinks of Lend and regains control. Reth leaves her, hoping that she will soon fall asleep and so...
