Part Three, The Vessel, Hours 1-12 Summary

Part III is divided primarily into hours and this section covers the first twelve. In hour one, Ben, Q, Radar and Lacey explain to their parents why they are going to miss graduation. Their parents are upset but they are excited about the road trip. Quickly they fall into their roles. Lacey is the provisions provider and Radar is the researched and calculator. He says they must drive at seventy-two miles per hour and stop only briefly. Q is the nervous driver and Ben, well, has to pee. It looks like they are going to have a great time. In hour two, Q notes that he doesn't get pulled over by a copy despite speeding. They're mostly focused on the road. Ben still has to pee in hour three and has to pee...
