Summary

Sacco visits Ramallah for the day. There is a violent outbreak with the sounds of explosions and the sudden appearance of soldiers, prompting Sacco to return back to Jerusalem. No one there has heard of the incident because it is not anything new. Sacco returns to Ramallah and watches soldiers scour the streets while a falafel vendor laments how the Israeli forces have driven away business. An impromptu Palestinian protest scares off the vendor and others. Kids attack the soldiers by throwing stones and run away. Sacco draws these sequences in the style of action comics, with backgrounds whipping by and panels clustered together. The hostilities cause a road block on the way back to Jerusalem, but Sacco is able to return.
