Vienna

Vienna is the city in which Dominika recruits Jamshidi, an Iranian nuclear scientist, to share secrets with the Russian government. Jamshidi had been seeing Udranka, a Sparrow placed by Dominika to give her leverage when convincing him to cooperate with her. Dominika had Nate pretend to be Russian and meet with Jamshidi with her. One day when they arrive for a meeting they find Jamshidi and Udranka have been murdered. Nate and Dominika are followed and Dominika almost killed when her scalp is grazed by a bullet.

Natanz is a real life city in Iran where a nuclear plant is located, just like in the novel.
