Summary

In Chapter 1, Captain Dominika Egorova of the SVR followed her target down a sidewalk in Paris. He was oblivious to her as she followed him into the club La Diva. Dominika was trailing the man, Parvis Jamshidi, because he knew the nuclear secrets of the Islamic Republic of Iran, secrets the Russians wanted. She was attempting a hostile recruitment attempt of him.

Dominika was a double agent, she had recently been recruited by Nathaniel “Nate” Nash, a CIA officer. She was not only Nate’s agent but also was in love with him. Once she was returned to Russia after a pretended kidnapping by the CIA, Dominika was stressed not only because of the dangers of being a double agent but was also unsure if Nate was even alive.
