Ponyboy finally got home around 6:30. He couldn't eat much and swallowed 5 aspirin in the hopes it would get him through the big rumble and maybe get rid of his headache. Pony showered and got ready for the rumble. After everyone was ready, they sat and waited for the rest of the gang to show up. Pony realized that each one of them had a different reason for fighting.
