Summary

Chapter 13 – Shay, Cruz, and Fenfang arrive. Cruz’s arm, bloodied from the dogs, will need a doctor. Danny brings Cruz and X into town for medical help and return a few hours later. They also obtain the pills Janes spoke of, but Fenfang isn’t sure if she wants to take them or not yet. Shay, Cade, Odin, and the others go through the documents from Dash’s house. They learn a lot about the NSA and who it is spying on, such as the New York Times, reporters, professors, and other influential people. There is also an agreement between Dash and Singular for “medical treatment” for half-a-billion dollars to be transferred from a Venezuelan bank to a Russian bank.
