Summary

Back in Montauk for the weekend, John learns that Matt will not be joining them that week. John misses him and begins to realize that the way in which he misses Matt is different from that of a regular friendship. Mike's boyfriend Shane talks to John about what the gay communities are like in various surrounding areas including Montauk and Manhattan, emphasizing how difficult it is to be a single gay man and noting that the "elusive good gays" are at The Hive.
