Summary

Karen is watching Jacob do a tennis lesson. She comments that he is improving after every lesson and is getting quite good now. She writes that she has been having trouble regulating her body temperature recently, and sitting watching Jacob, she feels cold. She is aware that Dave is going to be coming, but she does not feel guarded. She is calm when he sits down next to her. Karen and Dave watch Jacob play for a while and Dave is amazed at how good he is. Dave asks what is going on and Karen goes on to tell him that parent-teacher conferences are coming up and that he could come if he wants to.
