Summary

Karen wakes up in the morning but stays in bed for a while just listening to the sound of Jacob’s cartoons. When she eventually gets up, Jacob tells her it is almost time to go to Dave’s house for lunch. Karen begins sweating in the car and is unsure of whether she is nervous, or whether its due to her medication or the cancer itself.

Dave’s building is familiar to Karen and they go up to the penthouse and Megan answers the door. Karen observes that even after all these years, the apartment still smells the same. Jacob rushes into Dave’s arms, and Megan comments on how well they have bonded. Everyone gets introduced and moves into the apartment.
