Summary

Karen and Jacob arrive home to their Manhattan apartment, and Karen comments that it is quite big for Manhattan standards. Jacob gets Kelly out her cage, despite being told not to, and plays with her on the floor. Jacob asks if they can order dinner. Karen tells him to put Kelly back in her cage. She sits down to unpack and is struck by a pain in her side. Jacob runs to her and asks what he should do. Karen wants him to call 911, but instead he tries to call Julisa, who is in Puerto Rico. He then fetches her purse but cannot get the lid off the codeine bottle. Jacob disappears, and Karen does not know how long he is gone for. He returns with their neighbor, Yuki who helps Karen sit up and take her pill. Yuki calls 911.
