Summary

The narrative shifts focus to a boy named Justin who is found dead in a park in a neighborhood of London. The narrative describes Justin as having been a kind and studious boy. He was stabbed to death by a 14-year-old girl. The girl was told by gang members to commit the crime as part of initiation into the gang. The narrative then shifts focus to Melissa, who is spending time with her mother. Her mother advises her to resume her relationship with Michael immediately; she says that it is Melissa’s duty as a mother and wife to do so. Michael occasionally visits Melissa in order to see Ria and Blake. After the death of Justin, Michael and Melissa converse sadly about the tragedy.
