Summary

In Chapter 22, Cooper narrates as he and his father drive to the police station after receiving a call that they want to question Cooper again. Once there, Cooper’s lawyer and the officer suggest that Cooper’s father stay outside. They tell Cooper that they found another file about Cooper that had been encrypted and replaced with the steroid story. This file describes Cooper’s relationship with Kris. The officer points out how suspicious it is that Cooper’s file got encrypted and replace with a fake. Cooper is more concerned because he will have to tell his father that he is homosexual. On the ride home, Cooper tells his father that there is new evidence but that he wants to wait to talk about it until they are home.
