The Spaceship

The spaceship of Valerian and Laureline is one of the main settings of the novel. It is seen repeatedly between the scenes on the various Earth settings and the space setting that serves as the meeting place for the Egg Alien and Jadna. The spaceship seems reasonably typical of futuristic spaceships. It is large and complex, with room for dozens of pods holding Valerian clones and for the equipment needed to program those clones.

India

India is the setting for the first battle of the novel. It is in India that the reader sees for the first time a Valerian clone get killed. There is not a lot of detail about this setting, which has a lot of sand and a fort of some sort.

England

England is the setting of the second time a Valerian clone is killed. The scene is set on a city street...
