Summary

In Chapter 18, Nora has a flashback to her prom, which was a disaster because Lily got high and had to go home early because she got sick. Back in the present, Nora and Sullivan go on date, where Amy is awkwardly their waitress. During the date, Nora describes for him the BBE. Sullivan walks Nora to the houseboat and leaves, when Luke suddenly appears and tells Nora “Don’t fuck with my brother” (281).

Chapter 19 Nora writes another letter to Lily, then she stops by her mother’s house, where Sharon tells Nora that Lily wants Nora to stop writing her letters. Later, Nora is on her way to Boston with Boomer when she sees Audrey, Sullivan, and Amy on the dock of the ferry. They are going to Boston for Audrey’s surgery.
