Chpaters 90-91 Summary

The guards at both sides of the Lo Wu bridge are jittery and neither side knows why. Brian Kwok is brought there that evening. They tell Kwok that he is formally ordered out of the colony. Kwok does not believe they are freeing him. Kwok ran across the bridge into China.

Casey is at Peak lookout, gazing at the view and thinking. She knows she has to be strong and begin again. She wonders if she should go see Orlanda and calls her. Orlanda invites her over. They talk and both cry. Casey gives her a check for ten thousand dollars and says it is from Linc. Casey tells her Linc would want them to be friends. She will help Orlanda find a job in the United States.
