Mechanical arm

A mechanical arm is the defining physical characteristic of Ballister. The arm replaces the real arm that he lost at the hands of Goldenloin’s underhanded cheap shot after the joust years before. The mechanical arm daily serves as a reminder to Ballister of everything he has lost, and symbolizes everything he seeks to gain – the overthrow of Goldenloin and the Institute.

Weaponzied lance

A weaponized lance is given to Goldenloin for use in his joust against Ballister. The weaponized lance is essentially a small rocket launcher that fires projectiles. After losing the joust to Ballister, Goldenloin uses the lance to blow off Ballister’s arm.

Secret Institute files

Secret Institute files are discovered by Nimona when she infiltrates the Institute. She brings the files back to Ballister’s lair, where she and Ballister study them together. Among other things, the files reveal jaderoot use...
