Nimona

Nimona is the eponymous hero of the graphic novel “Nimona” by Noelle Stevenson. Nimona is a shapeshifting doppelganger, who has the ability to change into any living creature, and to divide herself in half. Nimona appears to be in her teens, is short, slightly overweight, and has a mostly-shaved head with pink hair. Nimona sneaks into Ballister’s fortress where she aspires to be the villain’s sidekick. Niomna’s passion and rage at having been treated so horribly in the past lead her to want to commit acts of destruction and violence, but she learns through Ballister to take a moral approach to villainy. She sets out with Ballister to take down Sir Goldenloin and the Institute because they are corrupt. While trying to free Ballister from the Institute, Nimona herself is captured. She must split herself in two to escape, with her anger and rage taking...
