Mary Oliver's New and Selected Poems, Volume Two (2005) includes new and previously published works from 1994 through 2005. The volume itself features poems grouped together according to their publishing date, beginning with the newest works first. The first section, "New Poems," is comprised of 42 pieces written between 2004 and 2005. The next two sections feature works from Blue Iris and Why I Wake Early (both from 2004), and consist of five and 18 poems, respectively. The fourth group of poems contains six selections from Owls and Other Fantasies (2003), followed by four poems taken from Winter Hours (1999).
