Summary

In Chapter 20, a month after arriving in New York, Che considers his list of goals again. He feels Rosa has not changed and he still has not gotten any closer to talking to his parents about her. On the other hand, he has begun sparring. He knows he is a liar because he has not told his parents, but plans to do so. He is happy to be friends with Sojourner but does not plan to pretend like he is a Christian just to get Sojourner to be friends with him. He still wants to go home to Australia, but not as much as he did at one point.
