Chapters 17, 18 and 19 Summary and Analysis

In Chapter 17 titled One Step Closer to God, Ellen discusses some spiritual issues. Ellen often thinks in big picture terms with questions like "What is the meaning of life?" and "What is infinity?" One day, she is thinking about God quite a lot and spots a woman who has been praying steadily for two hours. She feels like telling her to knock it off and give somebody else a shot.
