Summary

Chapter 12 is set three months later. Cat helps her father and Biddy take in the glampers and spends all her free time secretly scouring the internet for job openings in London, but she has no luck in finding a job. Then, one day, Demeter comes to the glamping site as a guest. She does not recognize Cat, who has changed her appearance. Cat, infuriated because Demeter does not notice her, gets an idea to exact revenge upon her former boss.

In Chapter 13, Demeter cannot participate in the regular group activity, so Cat takes her out alone and pretends to lead her in an ancient Vedari ritual, which is actually complete nonsense that Cat made up. She makes Demeter dress in a sack and spread mud all over herself and meditate. Then Cat takes her to the horse stall and makes her clean...
