Chapters 16-20 Summary and Analysis

In Chapter 16, The Acceptable Difference, Reymundo still wanted to enroll in high school. Back at Maria's, Crazy One and Papo congratulated Reynaldo on the kill. Papo and Reymundo got into a fight with a group of Insane Spanish Cobras led by Flaco, Reymundo's old friend. Flaco refused to harm Reymundo but had the Cobras hold him while they brutally beat Papo.

In Chapter 17, Officer Friendly, Reymundo partied with the Latin Kings and their female counterparts the Latin Queens on the rocks at Montrose harbor. He then met a beautiful girl nicknamed China.
