The players are given a short time to change their clothes and remove their makeup before they are escorted to the castle. They are told to bring only their costumes. Margaret stays behind. The group travels to the castle on mules, with guards both in front and behind them. When they arrive, they are led up a stone staircase into the chamber where they will stay. The chamber is a square stone room with hay on the ground to sleep on.
