Bond manages to use his mouth to light the blow torch and, with some struggle, uses it to release Brand's bindings. She frees herself and unties Bond. Bond then tells Brand to get into the shower in the adjoining bathroom. Bond is going to ignite the fuel in the rocket, blowing it up and killing himself in the process. He tells Brand she may die too but there is no other option. They have to save London, even at the costs of their lives.
