Bond is admiring Drax's Mercedes. He thinks it is typical of him to buy a German car. Drax comes out of the house and gets in the car with Krebs and Brand. They leave for the drive into London, Bond following in his own car. Bond and Brand had previously arranged to meet for dinner that night.

In Drax's car, Brand is trying to steal Drax's notebook from his coat pocket. In the notebook are coordinates for the rocket launching. As Drax is concentrating on driving, Brand covertly snatches the notebook. She then asks Drax if can stop at a hotel so she can use the restroom. He reluctantly agrees, and when she is alone in the bathroom, she studies the coordinates. She.....
