Part Two - Tuesday, Wednesday, Chapter 10 - Special Branch Agent Summary

Before heading to the Moonraker facility, Bond has a few meetings. First he meets Assistant Commissioner Vallance at Scotland Yard. At first Bond is uncomfortable working with a new department but he quickly gets to like Vallance. Vallance wants Bond to backup his officer, Brand, and to help in anyway he can. Bond is pleased to find no interdepartmental rivalry.

Next Bond meets with Professor Train, a physicist working on the Moonraker rocket. He gives Bond background on the working of the rocket. He tells Bond that it is Drax's Columbite that has made the Moonraker possible. It is the only material than can withstand the high temperatures of the rocket. Bond wonders how they can be so sure the rocket will come down.....
