Bond and M sit down at the table with Drax and Meyer. Right away, Drax tells Bond that he wants to take all his money. Bond suggests they play for the club limit. Bond agrees but immediately regrets it as he realizes if he loses just four times, he will have lost his entire income for a year. As a result of his impulsiveness, Bond begins to feel nervous. M tells Drax he is good for Bond if he loses, and Bond knows if he does lose, M will have to cover him. This makes him more nervous. As the game starts, Bond loses his nerves and focuses on crushing Drax.
